Retired Chemistry teacher Miss Parker was surprised and delighted when she returned to LEH last night for the Sixth Form Open Evening.
To celebrate her 33 years at the school, Miss Parker was invited to unveil a plaque naming one of the science labs in the school in her honour, The Ruth Parker Laboratory.

Joined by former colleagues and students, Ruth was astonished to be the subject of great celebration, although all agreed that the accolade was thoroughly deserved in appreciation of her dedicated service to the school and her students.
