Mrs Ashe says: “Do you remember the days when you could dress up and head out to the theatre or go out for a sumptuous meal with other human beings? Well so do the LEH musicians, and we’re going to do our best to provide you with an alternative!
“Friday 12th February would have been our Cabaret Night where we channel the West End in a shower of glamour and sequins. Mrs Tate would have had her glitterball, the live band would have been on exhilarating fire, you’d have dressed up to the nines and the convivial sound of conversation and popping corks would have filled the Theatre.
“In the absence of that, the Holles Singers have been preparing an online extravaganza for you which will go live this weekend on Friday 12th February - at 7pm. We encourage you to get out of those PJs and dress up - ball gowns, DJs or jeans if you prefer? Tiaras? Killer heels? Please send us photos of you living the life whilst experiencing the heady glamour of the LEH musicians singing their hearts out.
“Equally, you could snuggle under a duvet and watch it as casually as you like, whilst tucking into marmite on toast. Totally up to you.”
