Alumnae News |
Eloise, who now works in biomedicine, was Netball Co-Captain at LEH in 2013/14 and part a very successful netball year group. “So, I don't think it would be a shock for those that haven't seen me in 10 years, that I am still involved in netball in the community!”
She adds: “We are recruiting at the moment and would love to get the message out to any alumnae who have returned home after uni. I know it helped me with the transition of returning home to have the support of a club. Teddington Swans is a friendly and sociable club and we welcome experienced players.”
Teddington Swans is a competitive club with a First Division team, but it also has a development arm which transitions junior players to adult netball. It competes as part of the Kingston and District Netball League. Club members train at St Mary's University, on Wednesday between 7.30-9.30pm and have matches on Saturday mornings, with their home ground being at Hampton High.
In addition to playing, Eloise is in the process of taking coaching qualifications: “I currently coach an age group at Whitton Waves Junior Club, to which loads of LEH girls belong. I’m working on bringing this junior club and Teddington Swans closer together.”
