The Be Bold Grant, which is worth up to £1,000, upholds LEH’s ethos of encouraging pupils to have the confidence to try something new, to step beyond their comfort zone and risk failure in order to learn and grow.
It is open to a past pupil of any age, who would benefit from the support of the LEH alumnae network to explore a new interest, try something different or undertake a special project with a focus on giving back and benefitting the local community or beyond. The grants are not available to fund further education, electives or work placements.
Grants are awarded once a year, in November, by the Alumnae Advisory Group, which is made up of volunteer past pupils who represent a range of ages and experiences.
Each year the group hopes to make one or two grants available. Applications are made by completing the online form to explain why the funding is needed, what impact it will have, and a breakdown of how you would put the money to use. The deadline for applications has been extended until Friday 8th November 2024.
We look forward to hearing your bold plans. To find out more, please visit: https://www.hollesconnect.org.uk/pages/Be-Bold-Grant.
