Helping our Amazing Alumnae Be Bold

We're delighted to announce that applications for the Be Bold Grant 2024 are now open! We invite enterprising former students looking to take on a new challenge that would benefit others to apply.

The Be Bold Grant upholds LEH’s ethos of encouraging pupils to have the confidence to try something new, to step beyond their comfort zone and risk failure in order to learn and grow.

It is open to a past pupil of any age, who would benefit from the support of the LEH alumnae network to explore a new interest, try something different or undertake a special project with a focus on giving back and benefitting the local community or beyond. The grants are not available to fund further education, electives or work placements.

Grants are awarded once a year, in November, by the Alumnae Advisory Group, which is made up of volunteer past pupils who represent a range of ages and experiences.

Each year they hope to make one or two grants available, up to a maximum of £1,000. Applications are made by completing the online form to explain why the funding is needed, what impact it will have, and a breakdown of how you would put the money to use. The deadline for applications is Friday 1st November 2024.

We look forward to hearing your bold plans.  To find out more, please visit: https://www.hollesconnect.org.uk/pages/Be-Bold-Grant.
