Please Help us Make a Difference

If you've ever considered giving back to your old school, now is the moment to do so, thanks to an exciting Giving Day challenge from alumnae Jillings sisters to really make the most of your donation.

If we can get 100 alumnae to donate, then Kate Jillings, Class of 1998, and her sister Sophie Jillings, Class of 2000, will kindly add an extra £1,000 on top. That’s just 10 alumnae from 10 different year groups. This is the first time we’ve issued a challenge directly to our amazing alumnae.  Please help us to make it count.

All proceeds raised by our Giving Day on Thursday 16 June will go directly to the LEH Bursary Fund. The fund provides financial support to pupils who would otherwise be unable to take up their place at the school.  It can make a transformational difference to the lives of others. And it can also benefit all pupils by encouraging them to see that differences enrich our school, as well as encouraging greater empathy and boosting confidence.

If you would like to help transform a young person’s life, please donate now and we will keep you updated on the progress of donations over the course of Giving Day.

Bursary recipient Soraya Radford, Class of 2003, says: “LEH was much more than a brilliant education. LEH gave me friends for life, the teachers nourished my sense of self belief and gave me confidence in my own abilities. The environment I was in and the people I was surrounded by gave me the chance to aspire to possibilities that I wouldn't have otherwise had and the school taught me the tools and gave me the confidence to make them happen."

We are also delighted to offer an exciting range of prizes in our Auction of Promises, many of which have generously been donated by our wonderful alumnae. Up for grabs are an awesome cinema and pizza night in your very own garden, a sensational sparkling afternoon tea for two at The Wharf, Teddington, two hours of expert gardening from the LEH Head Groundsperson and a West End theatre voucher worth nearly £200.  Please visit our Auction page to see details of these and all the other amazing lots.

Thank you so much for your support.
