Spotlight on our Alumnae Rowing Stars

Cambridge undergraduates Gemma and Catherine King, Class of 2018, recall their time at LEH in the current edition of Independent School Magazine.

The pair are being featured after winning spots on the Women’s Lightweight Blue Boat Crew in the Oxbridge Boat Race last month.

“Being a twin, we should probably have made the most of this and tried more pranks!” said Gemma.  “We tried switching classes a couple of times.  However every time we tried to swap, it didn’t last very long as all our friends could tell us apart! Pretty soon some giggles would give the game away.”

The pair also talk about their love of sport and music and all the clubs they took part in, as well as being put on the spot about their favourite teachers. To see the full article, please click here: Indpendent School Parent magazine.
