Would You Like a Lockdown Letter?

We're all back at home in isolation again, and as this can be particularly tough for some of our older alumnae who live alone, we're thinking of reinventing the old pen pal schemes of our youth.

Please let us know if you could be interested in receiving a lovely, chatty letter from one of the pupils currently in school, taking part in the critical workers support scheme.

Ten-year-old Pippa from the Junior School is one of the pupils keen to share her news and bursting to ask lots questions. She says: “What is your favourite colour? Mine is purple. What is your favourite sport? Mine is skiing and netball, and also sailing. What is your favourite food? Mine is the classic, ice cream.  I’d like to write to you in lockdown to make sure you are well and having fun although we’re not allowed out of the house.”

All correspondence will be done with the LEH Alumnae team acting as intermediaries, either via email or traditional letters. If you are interested in a lock down pen pal, please email us at: alumnae@lehs.org.uk. The address to write to is: LEH Alumnae, LEH School, Hanworth Road, Hampton, TW12 3HF.  We look forward to hearing from you.
