Secrets of the Art World with Kate Bryan
Portrait Artist of the Year judge Kate Bryan is a self-confessed art addict. As Global Director of Art for the Soho House Group she oversees and builds a collection now numbering over 8,000 works in 14 countries.
In this engaging talk, the well-known curator, writer and broadcaster will reveal what it takes to work in the art world and why studying art can have a lifelong impact, even for those in seemingly unrelated fields.
Kate Bryan has written and presented television programmes for BBC, Sky Arts and Sky Arte Italia and is a judge on the long running programmes Sky Arts Landscape Artist of The Year, in addition to Portrait Artist of the Year. Her current ongoing series is Inside Arts which presents the latest exhibitions across the U.K for Sky Arts. In 2014 she won the Arts category in the Women of the Future Awards and is now a mentor for young artists from under-represented backgrounds.
